The exhibition dedicated to the 75th anniversary of Maris Liepa

Maris Liepa one of the top ballet dancers of the 20 century was born in Riga.
Maris Liepa gains his worldwide fame with his title-roles in Swan Lake, Giselle, Sleeping Beauty, Don Quixote,Spirit of Rose, Galateya, Anna Karenina and many others.
Audiences at home and throughout the world were stunned by the overwhelming and  expressive power that Liepa poured into his indisputably great performance as Crassus, the Roman tyrant in Spartacus.
English critic Richard Barkl has called  Maris Liepa the best dancing actor in the world and has compared him with Laurence Olivier.
Exhibition has on its display the photographs and some painting by Uldis Zemzaris who was friend of Maris Liepa.
