Jeg fortsetter å skrive om Karmøyutstillingen. 40-årsjubileum.

Bjørn Chr. Røed f.1938 i Mandal, bosatt i Stavanger.

Utdannet ved Bergen Kunsthåndsverksskole, grafikk 3 år og bokkunst 1år. Studieatelieret i Stavanger og Kunstforeningens Kunstskole med Rolland Lengauer og Kjell Pahr Iversen, 2 semestre.

Tegner i Bergens Tidende 2 år og  Rogalands Avis. Illustrert bøker bl.a. Dreyer Forlag, Cappelen og Gyldendal. Deltatt på Vestlandsutstillingen og Sørlandsutstillingen . Har hatt flere separatutstillinger. Innkjøpt av flere kunstforeninger og offentlige institusjoner.

Kunstneren er utdannet som faglærer i kunst og håndverk ved Høgskolen i Oslo 2008. Representert i Galleri Ramfjord siden 2008 og debuterte med separatutstilling samme  sted i 2010. Vinner av stipendutstilling i samme galleri i 2011, og deltok på invitert utstilling i New York. Medlem av Norske Malere LNM og NBK.

I continue to discover painters from the exhibition in Karmøy 2014. Exhibition was organized by Lions Club Karmsund.

Roald Tellnes (f./born 1946 i Bergen). Bosatt Norheim.

Deltatt på Vestlandutstillingen, Sørlandsutstillingen, Statens Høstutstilling og Europa-utstillingen i Brussel.
Innkjøpt av bl.a. Søllerød Kommune i Danmark, Rogaland fylke og Norsk Kulturråd. Utstillinger i New York, New Orleans og Seattle. Kunstneren har deltatt på samtlige av Kamøy utstillinger!

Roald Tellnes

Roy Andreas Dahl. Karmøy exhibition/utstilling

f.1958 i Langevåg på Sunnmøre

Han har utdannelse innen grafisk design og maleri. Separatutstilling på Galleri Graff, Oslo.
Gjennomgående i bildene til Dahl er at han tør å la de friske fargene stå i kontrast til hverandre.

Han har medvirket på flere kollektivutstillinger og har separatutstillinger i flere kunstforeninger og galerier i hele Norge blant annet fem ganger i Tjømes kunstsalong i Oslo og i Trygve Lie-galleriet i Sjømannskirken i New York.

Dahl er blant annet innkjøpt av Dyno Industrier, Hydro, Statoil, flere banker, institusjoner og Vesfold fylkeskommune. Han har sitt atelier i barndomshjemmet i Langevåg.

His work are to found in the collections of Dyno Industrier, Hydro, Statoil, banks.

"Purmale and Polis are names  that magnetically attract the term "Photo Realism" in surveys of Latvian art, although both artists have often energetically opposed it. Their connection with the quite peripheral trend in the global art history poses many riddles but nevertheles fascinates. It is possible that several principles crucial for Purmale`s art can be elucidated, projecting general principles of Photo Realism against the field of artist`s individual practice. [...]

I like distance, that steamed-up window in-between, that prevents Liga Purmale`s paintings from spreading smells and sounds. Painting is painting, there is nothing to prick up ears and nose about. The world is made up by what is visible. The painting`s world."
