1920s- we can talk about so-called Classical Modernism in Latvian art.
Up to the late 1920s, Latvian Classical Modernist painting saw purposeful development in Western Europan Art, but in the 1930s, Realism increasingly established itself as the prevailing direction in Latvian art.
