In the exhibition in the gallery "Jekabs" are 15 youngest pictures (2008-2009) with well-known Liena's motives - flowering trees, cherry-trees and poppies. There are landscapes where is made special world of Liena. Her garden of fairytales.
In every picture you can feel moment of intimacy. For example, some detail with story (drawing of child). If i compare her paintings 5 years before, i see the colours are more intensive.

Liena Baklane born in 1976.
Professional education: 1987 -1994 J. Rozentala Riga Secondary Art school. 1994 - 2002 Painting Department of Latvian Academy of Art (2002 - Bachelor's degree, 2002 - Master's degree).
Has participated in exhibits from 1993.
