The show combines tow dangerous (old as the world yet current as fashion) stories: of woman and of beauty. Of course in the status of an art object, woman become irrational. In the painter Līva Pakalne's version, the assumption is rooted, atypically to the Latvian mentality, in a blend of two different kinds of experience - that of the artist's country of residence, the ancient magical tradition - filled Sardinia, and the universal popculture.
