In 1922, Latvian society was preparing for the election of the 1st Saeima (national parliament, parlamento nazionale). Political debates were discussing everywhere, including at the Sukubs Cafe that belonged to artist Romans Suta's mother. That is where the idea of launching the Ho-Ho satirical art magazine was born.
I think it would be very interesting to compare some questions in the exhibit. Especially - when Latvian society prepares for the election of the 10th Saeima in October 2010.
